Automated marketplace management replaced manual operations, and Pertina went from zero to 5,000+ Lexibook sales across five Central European markets in one quarter.

Pertina Group is the exclusive distributor of Lexibook across Central and Eastern Europe. Lexibook is a French family company producing electronic toys for children since 1993 and the global leader in small consumer electronics, specifically smart electronic toys for kids. Their mandate: maximize sales and accelerate expansion into new markets, within a year.
Pertina sells Lexibook products across Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.
Pertina needed to build Lexibook's brand across five markets: growing awareness, communicating product value, creating demand from scratch. Other marketplace sellers were listing the same Lexibook products. Every crown invested in brand-building could, without precise execution, send customers to a competitor's listing rather than Pertina's.
Brand investment and reseller competition pulling in opposite directions. Both had to produce results, across five markets, from a standing start.
"Pertina's case is a perfect example for Merchantee, because it can put practically every feature to use. The discipline is specific: on one side you are building a brand and growing a market, on the other you are competing with other sellers to make sure your investment in brand-building drives sales to you, not to them. Merchantee covers both sides very well, and with Lexibook, everything came together and worked." - Jakub Vraspír, CEO at Merchantee
Pertina was building Lexibook's marketplace presence on Allegro with no prior history on the platform. No sales data. No reviews. No signal on which products would convert, which categories had room to grow, or where competition was thinnest.
Launching across multiple markets while managing brand investment and reseller competition across all of them demanded more daily decision-making than any team could handle manually. The opening calls, where to focus, which products to activate, which campaigns to fund, would determine whether the launch built commercial momentum quickly or burned through budget searching for it.
Merchantee analysed the full Lexibook catalogue against live marketplace data before a single promotion ran: category size, competitor performance, customer interaction signals across all active SKUs, and price positioning relative to the strongest sellers. Pertina went into the launch with a clear picture of total market size, bestseller rankings, their own share, and which early actions would have the most measurable impact.
The catalogue was then segmented based on that data, and resources were directed accordingly.
Superstars: High-converting products with stable sales. Pushed into active promotion across all available channels within Pertina's defined budgets and conversion thresholds.
Contenders: Strong click and basket-add activity, low purchase rates. For each product, Merchantee identified the specific barrier: whether a discount campaign, a larger pack format, or free delivery under Allegro Smart would shift conversion. Investment was held back until that barrier was addressed.
Cold Stocks: Minimal customer interaction. Held from ad spend and flagged for listing review: lead image, title, subcategory placement. Each one assessed before any budget was committed.
Pertina uploaded pricing rules into Merchantee: a minimum price and a maximum price per product. Within those limits, Merchantee checked competitor prices every 30 minutes, adjusted automatically, and raised prices the moment a competitor sold out or increased theirs. Every change was tracked against the profit it generated.
Over three months, dynamic pricing contributed to more than 700 orders, roughly 17% of all sales, and produced around 45,000 CZK in additional profit from automatic price increases alone.
Pertina set a monthly promotion budget. Merchantee handled what happened inside it: enabling product promotions when customer signals warranted it, pulling back when they did not, tracking rising demand, and adjusting campaign performance throughout. No one at Pertina had to monitor or intervene in the day-to-day.
72% of all orders over the period came through automated product promotion. Of those, 40% ran with active Allegro campaigns, and 70% of that group arrived via Google promotion within Allegro Ads.
65%+ market share on Allegro.pl: More than 65% of all Lexibook product sales ran through Pertina's listings. On Allegro.cz and Allegro.sk, that figure exceeded 90%.
4 million CZK revenue in three months: More than 5,000 individual orders recorded across the quarter.
Cost of Sales held between 20 and 30%: 16% in promotion investment, 10% in marketplace fees throughout.
Revenue spread across three platforms: Allegro.pl contributed 50%, Allegro.cz 32%, and Allegro.sk 18%.
It is precisely the high level of automation that allowed Pertina to focus on what actually matters: on-time delivery and quality customer service. Commercial operations ran without the team losing ground. - Jakub Vraspír, CEO at Merchantee
